What are you excited about?

Hari Om.

Today, I met someone and asked them "What's happening?", the person replied "Hmm.... nothing much going on".

That statement actually made me realize that I have been very lucky, to have experienced so many things in the last 12 months, that each day has something or other exciting going on. Don't get me wrong, exciting does not always mean happiness, positive or good things; it will also mean being not so happy, negative or down on some days. But that is the beauty of life, that life does throw a lot of lemons at us, and it will be up to us to create a lemonade. Not easy at all, but continuously training one's mind to think positive and challenging oneself to be a better self than the previous day, does create the child-like excitement on a daily basis.

This is something that I yearn to do on a daily basis. I am far from being the happiest person, but surely the journey has started.....
